“Through all of his artistic endeavors, Cullinan delivers a pro-music
message that is creative, educational and fun.”

Cory Cullinan lives in a house ruled by women.  They keep him locked in a basement recording studio, and only let him out when a song is done.  This is the secret to his prolific longevity in the music industry.

Cullinan’s a Stanford Music grad, acclaimed recording artist as Cory Cullinan, Doctor Noize and Konshens & The Earth Band, commissioned composer for stage and screen, author, app creator, teacher, speaker, studio owner, philosopher and goofball.  Known for his breadth and sophistication as a composer, he’s equally adept at writing songs, soundtracks, musical theatre, and full orchestral and operatic works performed by major orchestras and Grammy-winning opera stars. His next commission for a modernized Sleeping Beauty premieres in 2024.

Beyond composing, Cullinan’s known for his meticulous and artful work as a music and multimedia producer for both himself and others — a composer who loves seeing creations through to the highest standards.  He studied and worked at Stanford’s legendary electronic music department, earned a Master’s in Recording Arts from University of Colorado Denver, and designed and constructed his own five-room dream production facility, Reach Studios — complete, of course, with an indoor soccer field.  He literally lives there.

A lifelong student and teacher of the arts, he’s Director of Music Technology & Recording Arts at Regis University, a summer Recording Arts teacher at Stanford University, and he’s a former award-winning high school Arts, Communication & Technology Department Head at Pinewood School and Recording Arts faculty member at University of Colorado Denver.  He was elected to the Board of Governors of the Recording Academy (best known for running the Grammys), where he served on both the Education Committee and the Producers & Engineers Committee.  He teaches production, composing and music business at Reach Studios, and Genius Workshops for the young as Doctor Noize.

As a live performer, Cullinan’s toured nationally for 15 years as Doctor Noize, playing everything from acoustic shows with readings of his Doctor Noize children’s books, to his insanely popular virtuosic one-man-band live audience interaction loop recording shows (he sings and plays many instruments), to his revolutionary symphony shows introducing newcomers to the orchestra.  He’s a musical entrepreneur who fuels himself with inspiration from his wide diversity of music and teaching projects and interactions, and cannot wait to write the next piece or tutor the next great recording artist.

But that’s only when his family lets him out of the basement.
