Cory Cullinan — I just have to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being the wonderful and inspirational person that you are. This was a trip of a lifetime and we are forever grateful to have been a part of this amazing event!

I have recognized the impact that you’ve made on my growth as a musician over these past years (first online in 2023 and in person the following two years). I particularly resonate with your system of collaboration in the class, encouraging my peers and me to use the two weeks to make connections and learn from each other.

I want to deeply thank you, Cory, and CCRMA for one of the greatest experiences I’ve ever been blessed with. I have never encountered a more passionate, supportive, and talented group of people. More than ever I feel comfortable leaning into my career as a musician and who I want to be as a person, and that is in great part thanks to the program and environment you created for all of us. Being surrounded by such a vast array of styles and human beings made me feel at peace and at home, and I cannot ever thank you enough for that.

Cory is an outstanding teacher. Besides having a strong grasp and background in his subject, his engaging spirit and passion provide a strong connection with his students. He lights that fire within each student. He has developed lifelong relationships with all because of his compassionate nature. Add to that his phenomenal sense of fun and frivolity, every class is an adventure, a happening event that any student will just love. An absolutely amazing educator!

Thank you for being an open door to each of us. Through your passion I’ve been able to nurture my creative spirit. Speaking of spirits, you always know how to lift them up, with every note, every joke, and every word of encouragement you give. I look forward to continuing this musical journey with you next semester.

Probably my favourite online course I’ve taken in a schooling environment simply because the environment that Cory created was so conducive to being open, friendly, thinking with precision and really doing things on your own to learn for yourself.
