The deconstruction ofthe word “test” serves as a powerful metaphor for the cultural challenges and transformationssocieties face in our rapidly evolving era. It feels like something you’ve never quite heard before, sending waves of emotion through the listener. The fusion of genres adds depth, emphasizing theblending of cultures and ideas in today’s world. 2025 Alive is a must.

Cory Cullinan didn’t walk into the studio with a plan. He walked in with frustration, grief and a sense that something had to be said—even if it couldn’t be said in words. What emerged was 2025 Alive, an eight-minute experimental audio-visual piece built almost entirely from improvisation. A single word—“test”—is sung, deconstructed and scattered across sonic space like ash. The rest is feeling. Unease. A scream into the silence. It is not a traditional release. It is not built to comfort. But it resonates.

Riley Max to Entertainment Flair

I am used to singing in a very specific way for musical theater. But as soon as I heard this song, I knew that I would have to let loose a bit and really sing whatever I felt in the moment.Mostly, I just wanted my vocals to feel very raw, so I didn’t think too much about delivery. I just trusted that whatever came out of my mouth in that moment would be OK.

Recording a project like this is so important, because not only do you support music on a whole, but you’re supporting your child’s own development, and the way they perceive the world, and the way they perceive themselves.

What we’re doing here with Doctor Noize is incredibly important because the future of music depends on the kids.

The orchestra has a level of complexity and beauty and length that we don’t have in popular music. Giving kids the exposure so that they understand and enjoy and be inspired because of the project that we’re doing here… I think that’s critical.
